For this Lab I´m using Communications Manager version 9.1.2, my LMS is the same CUCM.
1.- Take a DRS for all your servers, for example CUCM, CUC and IM&P.
2.- To avoid issues related with ITL file set the "Enterprise Parameter" >"Prepare Cluster for Rollback to pre 8.0" to "True" for CUCM.
3.- Under LMS check your current inventory to reflect the actual status. You can see my CUCM with an IP addres 10.1.X.X.
5.- From CUCM Administration, go to "System" > "Server" find your server and select it.
This is my actual IP address.
This is the new IP address.
7.- Check the new IP address is replicated to the server database, open a CLI session and enter the following command "run sql select name, nodeid from ProcessNode"
8.- Change the IP address from publisher server (in this case I only have one CUCM, if you have a cluster you have to make a different process in each subscriber to reflect first the new Publisher IP Address). This task can be performed from the CUCM Operating System Administration window or using a CLI command, I will use the first option.
10.- Change the IP address first, then accept the Warning, important not save settings yet.
11.- Change the default gateway to the new
address (in this case is neccesary because I change the network address) and accept the Warning.
12.- Click the Save button. The server automatically reboots with the new changes.
13.- After
the server reboots, access to LMS.
13.- Add again your serves like CUCM and CUC, go to "Inventory" > "Product Instances" and click Add button.
13.- Fill all settings and click OK.
After do it you received a message that your product instance was added succesfully.
14.- Selct your Instance and click "Synchronize Now" button.
Go to Dasboard Overview and then you can see all your licenses and no erros about synchronizations or license.
Open your CUCM Administration and you have not license warning or error.
Don´t forget to set the "Enterprise Parameter" >"Prepare Cluster for Rollback to pre 8.0" to "False" for CUCM.
I hope this information is helpful.
Thanks for reading.
